I just checked the Camden County property records and he is not a homeowner there, so maybe he rents at the address or something. It is a real shame that this is occurring. Thanks for the pictures of the convo

There has definitely been a lot of situations this guy has tried to rip people off. I am glad that there is now a reddit thread about it that gained some attention.

 

Well, we know what to do if anyone wants to trade headphones to that place in NJ.

1. Buy a package of candles.
2. Ship them to NJ.
3. Call the FBI in NJ (this crosses state lines, so it's a federal matter probably)
4. give them the tracking number
5. Explain the scam
6. Dude gets arrested and spends 10+ years in Federal f**k you in the ass prison.

What a scumbag. Sorry @Griffon. Hopefully he gets busted. Good point about the family emergency, obviously trading headphones, especially when you are moving half way across the country, is completely believable.

Guys, I live just across the river in Philly and many areas in Camden can be a bit rough, with the city having historically one of the highest crime rates per capita in the country.
