WTB: Lyr 3

For a variety of reasons, I've decided to return the Lyr 3 I've purchased. That being said, I love the amp, and would love to buy my new one from a fellow SBAF member. I'm looking mainly for one without the built-in dac or phono module, though I'm willing to spend a bit extra for one with it. I'm willing to spend up to $360 (or a bit more if it has the dac module), and I'll throw in an extra $20 if it's a friend or contributor. I'll pay for shipping.

 

You're going too aggressive with your purchases man, slow down and understand and appreciate what you got first.

 

I don't get it. You want to return the amp you love and then to repurchase it? Huh?

 

Just so I understand... You purchased a Lyr3 from Schiit, you like the amp, but are returning the amp (and paying the 5% restocking fee), so you can buy the amp used?

This is a shitty thing to post, hence my dislike. I had high hopes for you, but this is too much. If you are that strapped for cash that you can’t support a good company by buying new (which you already did), then maybe you need to rethink your purchasing decisions. This cycle can spiral out-of-control very fast; I think this was the point of @m17xr2b calling out spending $$$ in midfi purgatory.

Either way, just don’t be so blatant about returning a new product in order to buy used. The shipping both ways plus restocking fee adds up to close to $100 already, right?

 

I guess he had some issue like Hum and Buzz with the Lyr3 he bought earlier. Not sure if he got from Schiit or from third party so he returned it
