Duh - mConnect has gapless playback from the little gear icon. Tested out on Wire's Pink Flag :-)

  ??? "gapless" used to mean "with the gaps as intended on the record." That is, gaps would not be created when track numbers changed during music, as they might in live/classical, but are retained when they do exist between tracks.
  
  Believe it or not, this was once a really difficult concept for computer players! I wonder if VLC fixed it yet?

  Right, by default, mConnect would have these huge delays in playing the next track. Super annoying with classical especially.

  Very annoying. In fact makes continuous music impossible to listen to. I don't think it is now, but when I first switched to Linux, finding a player that treated tracks/gaps properly was actually difficult.

Using Qobuz with Raspberry Pi 4B connected to RDAC, but Bluetooth only. Airplay via shairport-sync is voodoo. Still sounds good.

So the Rega Jupiter has dual Wolfson DACs. That's why my poor Aries Mini always struggled in comparison.
