Water isn't as bad for electronics as it seems. Just make sure it's dry before turning it on again.

Agreed 99 % of the time I unplug it, set it on/near a heating source (that’s not too hot obviously) and leave it for a day or so and it’s usually perfect. My wife has washed her MP3 player like 8 times now. Dry it out someplace warm for a day or 2 and it still works
