I sort of get the "fine china" thinking but nah, decompartmentalize. There's much excellent sound design in games, all done justice by a fine setup.

I wouldn't do it any other way. The hd650s with dekoni fenestrated pads are super comfortable and the headphones don't care what you feed them. If your ears aren't bleeding, the headphones are fine.

I'm the opposite. If I spend good money on a system I want to use it all the time!

I was in a house once with a 6 figure speaker system and a flat screen next to it with a sound bar. Just plug the speakers to the TV!

Dude I waste tube lifespan watching trashy weeb stuff. Gaming is excellent use compared to that :)

But yeah, good audio does a game make. It's the reason why I still adore the original NieR to this day for all its flaws— I still listen to the soundtrack often! I should probably get around to playing Automata eventually.
