My absolute favorites are dark chocolate and pistachio from an ice cream shop in Stockholm - https://stockholmsglasshus.se/en/ice-cream/ .. Other than that, chocolate fudge brownie from Ben & Jerry's!
Funny you first 3 list Alden's, Blue Bunny, and Jeni's. I keep seeing these 3 brands pop up online searching for new ice cream. Some other brands were "better" but not available in the entire US, etc.
Don't think I'll be going to Stockholm again soon but noted for next time.
I find this question is too nostalgia loaded. Like objectively I don't think it's the best, but Blue Bell cookie dough always going to have a special place in my heart.
Again, nostalgia loaded. Like Graeter's and Jeni's is objectively better ice cream, but not what I grew up with. For the price, I'd rather have the HEB store brand ice cream over Blue Bell, but ultimately I dunno if ice cream is something I want to chase the dragon for.
Graeter's is pretty good but slightly too sweet for me - had it a few times when I went to Cincinnati. Not worth the trouble of getting it out here (from Cinci) IMO. Have also had Blue Bell and agree - overrated, but still pretty good - good enough for nostalgia lenses.
Have an upcoming (family) celebration and with things the way they are, were going to sit at home together and eat ice cream.
