    I wanted to reduce bass and upper mids, but even if everything had a better cohesion, it just killed small details and blurred the sound.

    The paid version's EQ isn't very much better either. It was the first Android app I ever bought and keep it for ease of use. Also prefer its sound to WinAmp or Neutron Player; less hashy treble and not bad upsampling.

    Is this on iOS or Android? I like USB Audio Player Pro for playing lossless on Android. Its not free though.

    @DigMe Android! Didn't know that one, will try it for curiosity. Poweramp is nice for playing music, the EQ isn't a dealbreaker because I don't hate my headphones, but it was kinda shocking to hear how bad it was.
