    i had a questyle that fed the spdif out to forssell dac. I didn't have a usb-spdif transport, so that was one way i did it.

    I presume this is for pro-uses, where you are using the DAC to tap into a digital signal path to use as a monitor. You can daisy chain the DAC in and pass the signal on to other hardware.

    In my system I've got Lynx E22 feeding the EAD DSP 9000 III via AES. Using Optical for TV. Regardless of digital input, it all goes out the AES output to my Monarchy M22B. Both play at the same time. Easy to compare.
