If the class average is also low, it's indicative of a poorly-designed test (or a class of dum-dums)

profs who don't curve when most of the class scores poorly = pompous asshats

Most of my exams for most of my major classes were like this and most profs set the average to a C... Then the school complained about too many people in honor society for the major having <3.0 while all the other engineering majors were all over 3.0 as a whole.

I remember one physics test where the whole class failed. Prof was an asshat.

Most of my classes senior year got easier and more project focused. It was the "Intro to ..." classes that were intentionally designed to make people drop out of college. Overpaid professors with no real world experience, on power trips piss me off.
