I'm a fan of headphones that measure flat on @Marvey 's rig, in Marv's hands. But that's the only neutral I have any faith in for headphone measurements.

When there's a measurement to show how different parts of the soundstage are emphasized or not and with what tonal colours I'll consider them, otherwise a flat line on a graph does nothing for me.

I wonder if this is similar to the Coke/Pepsi debate where initially neutral isn’t preferred, but the frequency profile may be favorable over the longer term?
