real audiophiles (tm) only listen to expensive jazz

I really enjoy weird drone ambient when I'm feeling like that. Dunno why. Theres tons of it on youtube. (CryoChamber, Iron Cthulu Apocalypse, Arctica are good channels.) I combine it with another window playing rain sounds, which there is also a ton of on youtube.

Free jazz is very interesting at times too.

I have fallen asleep to some jazz at times, even free jazz as well. More recently it is more ambientish music such as Johann Johannsson, Slow Meadow etc.. I’m not talking about falling asleep to it. I’m talking a night when you are really exhausted but wired and can’t sleep. It’s a specific state of mind that for me just loves free jazz. The more chaotic the better.
