It's a great card. I use it alongside 3090s for rendering CG and it is 98.6% as fast. Congrats.

@fraggler nope, a friend on discord mentioned they had some, they have this weird new process where you have to wait a while and then it says if they will have them at a store near you, so I just went and looked and got one. I wanted a 3080 or 3090 FE card, but the 3080ti aint bad either I guess in the current market

Yeah, compared to the 3080 the 3080ti and 3090 pricing is shit, as least for “msrp”, but like you said, pricing has all gone to shit too, so even getting the “worse value” card for msrp is solid right now

In Toronto, Canada Computers sells them at MSRP bundled with other components (like PSUs) they're trying to sell. The catch is you have to go to the store in person.

Did you get an EVGA? If so there's a weird fan behaviour on some of them (one fan runs fast while the others turn off). If you switch over to the OC bios and update the firmware, it remedies the issue. The card runs the same, but the fans work properly. I had this issue on 2 cards.

man, I haven't had a pre-built pc since like 1999 when I got a Dell. built my first pc in like 2004 after I got my first job so I could play Doom 3 and Half Life 2

I've been building my own PC's since the days of the intel 286... I can't imagine buying one that isn't a laptop at this point

U inspired me, so I picked up a 6900xt video card from amazon. They're in stock right now.

yeah, the AMD cards are much more available and not as overpriced vs their MSRPs

I was just looking at AMD cards last month and couldn't find stock at a reasonable price... have to go look now

wow... I'm not doing $1200+ for a card. I guess that tells me which is more important to me, graphics card or audio equipment... LOL
