What app are you using? Don't most of them have one? Whether they are any good or not...

I set my foobar2k install to have a prominent one just cuz it offers some interesting insights now and again, though I really do it for the wavy light effects spilling into my room lmao

@Skyline I stream from my nas to Plexamp headless on my pi and then to my speakers. Plexamp on my phone has a nice ASA, but that doesn't really help me on my speakers.

@Lyander I use DarkOne mod skin for foobar, has a nice ASA at the bottom. But that's in my office for headphones, which I don't really use anymore.

Are you just looking for jumping lego blocks or do you want to see in detail what you are hearing. Lots of free plugins for Jriver do the later.. Saw your comment on Tidal via plexamp and not understanding how MQA is a problem when you are not decoding it via dac.

But if you are only paying for hifi, it has been reported you get 16/44 lossless, not MQA. Is that not correct for that tier?

You are correct, the first time I tried tidal was a 3 month free trial to hifi plus several years ago, and I really hated the MQA masters. Right now I only have hifi, but even if I did have hifi plus it wouldn't use MQA in Plexamp.
