    I'm not sure if you are being deliberately obtuse, or simply have a complete lack of self-awareness.

    Also I wish someone would ask me about MY experience with DSD. So I could say "none!!" and then someone could think I was a bitter college student with no experience of high end gear.

    To me DSD is like instagram filters, it may make some photos/events look nicer but I am hell sure it does not represent audio more faithfully than PCM.

    GUTB you're getting flak because you make no room for the possibility that you're wrong. It's that simple.
    How you interpreted your reception on reddit is like how you're interpreting the situation here: everyone else is wrong, or poor you is being attacked for "having an opinion" (which you simultaneously want to be acknowledged as fact), or your own price-quality correlation is true until you find an exception.
    The simplest, most coherent explanation for your reception both here and reddit and anywhere else that you argue the same line of argument, is that the problem is you.

    Shhhh. I think he's gone. I gave him the "GUTB" treatment on his inexpensive low-fi fake sounding mass produced sheetmetal DAC that lacks sufficient cappage in the power supply section, so maybe he has a clue now, or at least he's gone back to lick his wounds before be comes back for round 28. Remember, use GUTB styles to fight GUTB. Do not use reason. GUTB is immune to reason attacks. But GUTB styles do double damage.
