HTWFAIP is back in the mainstream thread listings. It used to be invisible unless one actually went looking for it. Now I see it in the normal unread-posts list. Was this intentional or just an accident of one of the format repairs?

I mention it just in case it was an accident. It will surely mean it gets more traffic. Which is fine... or not fine... depending.

And... doesn't every thread in this section have to include a winch somehow?

Didn't have much to compare it against other than my subsequent HD600, but I think my AT ADH900 had a good mid-range. In fact, I bought instead of the 700 on account of being able to hear more air, so I suppose the highs weren't bad either. Not much bass though.

It was supremely comfortable, and, best of all, if you have wings, no winch required!

 

after looking deeper for Voxativ mesurements, why isnt there any measurements of their driver available?

I'm fairly sensitive to harsh/bright sounds.. I didn't find the AC-3x or 4x to over overtly bright in the BLH. They definitely aren't rolled off laid back or warm though.
I think a lot has to do with the room acoustics.

 

Do not buy it. Get the vintage DT480 but steer clear of the DT48. I once tried to like the DT48 but something about it was wrong, very wrong.
