What are you drinking RIGHT NOW?

Bought this while going thorough Iowa. Very good.
At whiskey tasting at distillery there, I liked this the best, parents bought it for me for my birthday.

 

Nicely done. On my 21st birthday my friends and I all went to T.G.I.F.s (do these dives still exist??). Anyway, I was expected to order a drink. I surveyed the massive bar and decided on a bottle tucked in a corner labeled “The Balvenie Portwood 21”.

I honestly had no idea what I was ordering, but it sounded cool. The bartender looked at me half surprised, half impressed, poured me a glass, and I was thenceforward ruined! Virtually everything my friends had became undrinkable, and everything drinkable was unaffordable!

 

Yeah, well on my actualy birthday i had a nice glass of weller 12

The reason I liked this one best:
Smoothest, a bit sweet, I guess from the port casks. I don't like sweet drinks, but this is whiskey, so even sweet isn't sweet. Just a nice balance of sweetness, whiskeyness, and still strong at 47%.

Smooth, but not so smooth when drinking fast playing games with my friends though.

Level a bit lower than before...

 

Of the 1827 calories I've consumed today, 218 of them are dedicated to some Bulleit Bourbon on the rocks right now.

 

Today is National Rum Day! In the spirit of this holiday I am imbibing Flora de Cana Gran Reserva Cuba Libres while floating in the pool. And a shout out to those makers of insulated stainless cups for keeping the sun from melting the ice so quickly.

@famish99's posts convinced me to finally buy decent rum, too. This Mai Tai tastes way better than Monday's.

Just bought this after a whiskey tasting at a local distillery with my parents. This one is good. Strong though

 

I'm drinking cold massala chai. Yes, it did start out hot.

I'm also dripping it down my, thankfully shirtless, chest. Damn.

Pretty good, but I mostly bought it to turn into a big bong...

 

Owing to a comment about Khortytsa vodka on the SW51 thread, I decided to have a tasting between it, another mentioned vodka (Tito's), and the one I had on hand (Tower). The first is Ukrainian, the latter two Texan.

To my taste, the Khor is as-stated, the best of the bunch, but Tower is real close to it. I liked the Tito's least. (The Khor I drank neat, which I've never done with a vodka before)
