Thanks to @BillOhio for pointing to the zoetrope rooster march:

But at the time I clicked on the link I was listening to:
Safiatou - Herbie Hancock featuring Angélique Kidjo and Santana

So listening to Safiatou in place of the audio track on the rooster march lined up as follows:
    0:16 Rooster March
    1:50 Safiatou - Santana solo

amazing synchronization and now hard to get out of the head.

Recently I’ve been updating the electrical system at my house, which has required shutting off the main panel a few times. I have all of the lighting split between Philips Hue, Lutron Casseta, and Leviton smart switches in a multi-tenant setup since I share the house with my sister. With smart lighting, whenever you restore power to it, the light comes on since it assumes you just flipped a light switch. You can change this setting, but I keep them this way. So, when I turn the main power back on each time, Every Light in the House is On. And even though I don’t listen to much country, this Trace Adkins song gets stuck in my head every time.

EDIT: When searching for the YouTube link, I discovered there are quite a few parodies of this song: "Every light in the house is blown", "Every light on the dash is on", etc..

I find that one to linger in my cranium.

Hard to say what sucks the most about this song...
    Pachelbel getting eviscerated?
    Levine's lecherous hipster uncle vibe?
His smarmy auto tuned white boy reggae vocals?
    The crowd noises?
    The one billion views?

Maybe I've already been cast away on a desert island with only 8 records. The complete total of songs/albums I ever post about is really small.

But anyway, my current earworm is that wonderful harmonica riff from On The Road Again.

I'm thinking of cutting it and using it for my wake-up alarm tone.

This one came to mind during the recent DNA stoush - the moral being, when opining on the relative merits of different blue components at SBAF, come dressed for battle!

Thomas Dolby's Europa & the Pirate Twins track has been getting randomly lodged since listening to the album a few week ago. And no the video sucks.

    Weird!
