I could be wrong, but I thought Jon said the army would be down to King’s Landing in a fortnight a.k.a. two weeks.

 

Two weeks sounds accurate. In the very first episode of the show, it took Robert a month to go from king's landing to Winterfell, but that was most likely being leisurely.

Never let the facts get in the way of a good story!

 

Theon in saves his sister in King's Landing in the first episode of the season and then is in Winterfell by the second episode. Even if he is going by boat, its like 1000 miles from King's Landing but also 400 miles inland.

Is Theon the fastest person in the show?

 

Didn't you hear? After plotarmor they recently introduced teleplotation it's quite nifty really.

 

By land, Winterfell to King’s Landing is about 1500 miles. At 25 miles per day that is 60 days. 25 miles per day is fast for an army on foot.

 

That's a lot of chaffing.

 

Yikes even the actors are thrilled about the last season.

 

Usain Bolt's peak speed was recorded at ~27.8 mph. So after about two and a half days of him sprinting continuously, he'd be able to make that distance.

Alternatively the remainder of the battle exhausted army can also make that trip in a couple of days.

That's what I was thinking, I hope that happens. Never thought I would hope for her death...

 

Jon will die killing Dany, leaving Arya and Gendry to rule the kingdom, with Sansa being queen in the north.

 

Gotta say, I was hoping for a more satisfying death of Cersei. That was kinda a buzzkill.

 

There is no way Daenerys lives after what she just did. As I said, Arya is the most likely person to kill her. Jon will not do it. Not unless it comes down to him or Daenerys. The dragon will follow Aegon Targaryen.

 

Theres no way they actually do this.

after all this shitty writing we've endured this season, do you actually think they'll choose to end it with the least bad option?

 

I wouldn't put it past them. They killed Jamie's character development with a butter knife.
