Mech Eng major?

I'm taking my statics exam next week. I'll celebrate with some whisky.

Wait until the dynamics class. As far as I am aware, all engineers have to take statics.

I hated statics. So easy, just physics 1 basically. Hopefully Dynamics will be more interesting.

You taken thermodynamics yet?

I think he's taking Dynamics and Thermodynamics next semester. Along with some design class and statistics for engineers.

Statics, dynamics & kinematics were fine. I still use dynamics to explain the difference between leg press, Smith machine squats & free-weight squats.
Thermodynamics absolutely kicked my ass. Much later, I gained an appreciation for how many things can be explained by the 2nd Law.
