My son is a LOTR geek. He told me the RoP series is an abomination of the original lore, He stated there are to many mistakes made in the series to tell me about. Obviously, he is not watching it. I'm taking his word for it and skipping it too.

Really happy with this purchase - can just use a small Amazon Fire tablet to use Spotify on headphone or stereo rig. And definitely notice better sound than Bluetooth 4.0 which is all my current gear supports. Now have incentive to rip 100+ CDs to FLAC and hang an SSD on it.

With the winter we’re having, riding outside is pretty rare, so it’s usually 3x/week in the basement on the trainer. Most of my headphones are open back, too much trainer & fan noise comes through. Didn’t really like the Classics, too bassy for me. But I tried them this week, and damn if they don’t sound great on the trainer. Not sure why, but I’ll take it. Music is all that gets me through longer sessions.

How do you exercise with full size headphones? Sounds like a sweaty mess and like they'd get annoying as hell.

I don't do much interval work anymore, the basement is just below 60, and I have a beast of a fan.

Now need to shower to get rid of fine dirt in hair & clothes. Worth it.

I think we've all been confused as to HFMs "strategy" with regards to versioning for the last ten years... I don't have any idea what the difference between a $400 and $4000 HP is in their lineup, and I'm too afraid to ask at this point.

i.e. they had a bunch of HE4XX cups, the bog standard headbands, and the magnet arrays tweaked from the HD5XX, and whatever screws and bolts and other things lying around (that amount to "incorporating several all-new components") and figured they could pass them off as something new. Or just recycling parts from warranty returns?

Pretty sure its the 400se with different earpads and headband, for 30 dollars less. Probably a good deal, but would need some testing to see if corners were cut.
