I grew up with Cartoon Network before PG labels and special program times in the 1990-ties. The violence of Tom & Jerry is hard to top unless you go full on Mecha Streisand (South Park).
Jackie Chan is fun. He is the joker of the Kung-Fu genre and kind of inspirational.
It is probably less realistic than Marvel violence. Bordering on slapstick even. Good fun. Would love to show my son some Donnie Yen or Iku Uwais, but their movies are usually a lot less fun. In a few years perhaps.
Hopped on the bandwagon after Rumble in the Bronx. Fell off after the last Rush Hour movie. But it's been years since I've watched a Jackie Chan flick. What's he done lately that's worth checking out?
Police Story 1 and 2 are pretty clean considering they’re not kids movies and he does some spectacular stunts and fight sequences in them. I think The Medallion was more of a family friendly one though I didn’t see it.
