I try to do it annually, but sometimes every other year.

The roads are shit here in CO Springs, so we're more prone to having our cars fucked up through regular driving.

Every year if you want to preserve tread. And make sure you religiously check pressure when it gets cold. I used to drive 54 miles to work, one way, and those were the 2 keys to getting 90k miles out of my Michelin Defenders.

I just got my wheels aligned, as the tires were real bad, very uneven wear. Have to replace my tires before winter, even though I'm only at 18k miles on the car

Thanks guys, My grandpa driving style must be helping. They did an alignment check and it is within spec, no issues. 6 years and all is well. If it was off just a bit they would have wanted to take my money.

Glad to here it. I have the alignment checked if the wear is weird. Or if we have a lot of potholes due to construction and rain.

Like @Hands, every year or two in Boston. I’ve found my dealership typically underinflates my tires too.
