Best of luck with everything. The 1st one especially - obviously a very difficult time for you and I assume your family. Taking care of yourself and others is job #1.
Bob, you're a stalwart and an immeasurably (hah) kind person. My heart goes out to you and anyone else going through shit nowadays, and I feel I speak for many when I say that though your presence is always a pleasure, homes both physical and internet don't stop being homes just because you're elsewhere.
Do take care Bob, your contributions here are a true treasure trove for those who understand them. Or so I'm told since I can barely scratch the surface. You will be missed.
Thank-you all for the thoughts. My mother has had a good 99+ year run. Her connection to audio began with being a telephone cord board operator in the 40's. I fortunately put a mic and recorder in front of her a few years back and asked questions about her life to capture both her voice and life history.
I'll still post and run, but in-depth participation will vary depending on responsibilities of the moment. There are many good contributions that deserve more than a casual perusal, which I hope to catch up with in retirement early next year.
