Josh Valour is a dumbass. Tried to watch his reviews many times but I just can’t. He barely knows what he’s talking about and just parrots Amir’s views on measurements. He makes pretty videos, and may be right on certain points, but overall I trust GoldenSound’s review over his any day of the week, and twice on Sunday.

There’s a written review on headphones.com that’s quite a bit less enthusiastic, too. And yes, Josh Valour is just a waste of time. Still, I want to hear more reviews, too—which is not a problem as I don’t think I’ll have the means to buy it anytime soon, anyway.

I agree that Josh not that useful but his QC issues seemed legit.

Reduced upper mids and lower treble, but a boosted upper treble: This sounds like a roughly similar tuning to my beloved Clear Mg. Plus microdetails and timbre galore … I definitely must hear this headphone.

@Riotvan True, but with a warranty of five years … I didn’t check yet which parts this warranty extends to, though.

Yeah but you maybe have to wait for a revision if the cups falling off the yoke problem is a widespread issue.

Speaking as someone from headphones.com, we did send the HEDD 2 to both GS and JV to get two different perspective plus we do have the written article written by Caleb on our site. The store part of headphones.com is a separate entity from the content side who is given creative freedom.

If we did want to make arrangements for tour pair, I could talk to my bossman about arranging it. Only issue is stock is still little slim for a bit.
