I've learned that I have preferences on pad wear for each Senn model. HD650: new pads. HD600: mid-life pad wear. HD580: give me some fairly worn out pads and I'm in heaven. So I’m sure the 660s2 would fall with a strict preference for me.

I wans’t going to participate in this loaner, but after reading your review, I wouldn’t be a true Sennbro if I didn’t - especially considering how well my Balancing Act rig is dialed in for these.
