Very cacophonous in the music threads (turned off sound for the site). Also, autoplay-blocker extensions aren't working for the site, which makes me think it's a sneaky-Google-originated site feature rather than user error.
This is the one I using currently. I always have something like this, an ad blocker, an social media button blocker, something that scrubs YouTube videos of ads, etc.
Chrome 122.0.6261.58 (64 bit), Win 11 Pro build 22631.3155. Might be this particular Chrome version; I've never had the problem before, though it's reportedly been widespread from time to time (and apparently intentional on Google's part, as there's no explicit setting to turn it off). Will see if the next update solves it - if not, another browser.
Yea, Google is now "evil" in their own old sense. From search, youtube, ads, it is all too aggressive and I need 4 or so extentions running to tone it down. Firefox might be my main browser sooner rather than later
