Probably not if you aren't working with sensitive electronics. At the time I was purchasing, a couple of the ESD were actually the same or cheaper for the individuals so I just went with it. If I went kit, I'd grab the regulars for myself.
Don't forget that you're gonna need a second toolcheck for your EDC kit. What's that? you don't have an EDC kit? Well hear me out, that's just a fantastic excuse to buy even more tools...
I have both the toolcheck and the ratcheting screwdriver, and I also have the one with the flexible shaft. I couldn't justify getting knipex, but did get a decent Irwin set on sale. It's a little more brutish, but it gets the job done on. I might still get a nice mini cobra or plier-wrench in the future.
Ha! Knipex makes a bunch of minis that looked so cute and badass I wanted to build an edc kit. Problem is I either work from home or the office, which has multiple sets of just about every tool imaginable since we are construction adjacent.
