I have an antique piano from 1905 that I really need to get tuned up again. The problem is that the strings are all original (and not in the best shape) and they're afraid to tune it up fully because last time one of the strings broke.

The greatest thing about owning a grand piano is that you can keep it partway open all the time, making it impossible for the women in your life to put photos on it.

I'm coming to your place with a large vase of flowers and a non-slip mat!

@Claritas I own an upright (not enough space for even a baby grand), but I still get very annoyed when people put things on top of my piano.

I get very annoyed when I see people putting stuff on top of speakers!

Especially so called audiophiles who also have a collection of fine china that they keep on shelves in the same room.

Never been a fan of flowers on my piano but I do dig tulips on my organ.

But seriously... If you are going to dig tulips on your organ, just be damned careful with the spade!
