As I understand it, tube's buffer (like Saga) but do no voltage gain. Also, no wifi (so no Roon even though OS is android) because tubes are too sensitive to wifi interference. A lot of compromise IMO...

I really wish they wouldn't use Android on daps.

I'm sorry, but I just don't understand why tube DAPs even exist. Just doesn't seem like a good idea.

I admit I want Roon on my DAP's for in house use (my most common use location), so I want Android. I agree, tube DAP's seem a stretch, about as weird as that new quarter with a goofy looking George Washington looking the wrong way...

Nutubes work nicely in DAPs, but with the tubes in this, it seems like such a waste of time and money.
