Checked their US website. In the section headphones, filter "hifi" there is no mention of the HD650. The HD600 and HD700 are there. No 650 so yeah it happened...

DF, if you turn Hifi off on the US website, the 650 shows up at a price of USD 499...so I dunno

Sad but they sold so many they won't be unobtantium for a good long while. They also last for decades and there will be spare parts.

I think I saw that Solderdude mentioned they will not be discontinued. Maybe they changed their minds?

How many times have we had this same convo here this year? People have been told this a long time ago by Senn employees who turned out to be wrong.

Sorry, next time I will check with you guys. Sennheiser seems to be sending mixed messages. Okay, their website is not a reliable source until extra confirmation is present.

My source is the local distributor, who heard it from Sennheiser themselves. His wording was more along the lines - they're about to get discontinued, so think about what you're gonna do.
