Or you can pony up $600+ and use Bob Katz's K-Stereo! :facepalm: These ambiance tools are great for lo-fi sources, like a soundbar, old mono recordings, or a small speaker. I actually think K-Stereo is probably the best tool out there for this type of gimmick. As with all DSP stuff, less is certainly more. Still...it certainly is fun to play around with. Kenneth Wilkinson and Roy DuNann certainly never used DSPs and I don't think their stuff needs spatial enhancement.
