Shall I post impressions here or is there a better thread for that?
I did a search for Mercury v3 and saw several varieties of threads.

@artur9 start a new thread for the Mercury V3 and I will edit the first post to link it.

In light of the first set of impressions, I have decided to increase the time for this loaner per person to 7 days. If you still feel rushed, please do not hesitate to post on this thread, ping me, and/or send me a PM.

Rec'd Mercury 3 and installed yesterday (after a few UPS delays due to snow)

@ChaChaRealSmooth - to confirm the list on the first page... am I shipping it back to @artur9 when I'm done (he's in both the #1 and #3 slots), or am I shipping to @gaspasser (#4)

Glad to hear. @dasman66 I thought you W PA types laughed at the paltry inches we've been getting?

Lol... we've had close to 80" so far this season... quite a number of roof collapses.

    I received the loaner today.

Having difficulty getting it to appear on the network, @Michael Kelly

The green ACT is blinking at the 2sec rate and I saw it briefly but not again.
It's using the ethernet, which has a yellow light on the back.

I can see a raspberry on my router's client list but cannot connect to it. ropieee.local also does not work.

    What else can I try?

did you scan your network with something like FING to see if it shows up? If so, you can get into it with the IP address.

FWIW, I didn't use the card that came with it... I used a fresh DL of Ropiee on my own card.

I tried the IP that the router showed - no response.
Other devices on that hub work.
I swapped the cable - no difference.

Maybe it needs a good night's sleep, like me! :)

If it shipped with a Volumio card, try volumio.local

It appears my ethernet hub was overloaded -- unplugging all the other devices and I can see and connect to the Mercury easily.

Now, to find a DAC. Only ones I have at this location appear to be an OPPO or maybe a Linn Kiko.... OPPO only takes HDMI...

    thanks all!
