@MF_Kitten Everything is shown in various video reviews, ks video, text reviews on headfonics etc. Usual 105mm earpads. Version that will receive @cskippy tomorrow will have extremely big opening (75 or 80 mm as far as I remember). We'll see how he likes (or not) such variant.

    Update #4 is out

I can't speak english well, but the sentences like this seems strange for me: "Now, I have an understanding that It's plenty of work ahead and I'm on a short road to my dream - bringing on market new headphones of the top league."
Please bear with me if this sentence is right. But if it is as bad as it seems to me, a native English friend here could lend a hand to Garuspik in proofing his announcements.

I think I prefer Garuspik's writing more than any rewrite. Maybe because I am used to spanglish. Thinking about what is being said gives more meaning than easy to read pablum by a polished English professor.

    It's RUnglish ;)
I've read sentence once more - it's too complex I guess, but still understandable (I hope).

Perfectly intelligible, but as it moves on from Ruglish to Hunglish it may present a challenge, I cannot say. A puzzle is it's own reward, in my mind. Pictures do say a thousand words though, and if it was in just Russian , I would still understand the idea.

A few weeks ago Garuspik was worried about looking unprofessional by allowing the change of color combinations after the announcement was done. I thought using RUnglish on Kickstarter is even more of that unprofessionalism, and easy to fix by friends.
I am not native, therefore guessing out the meaning is natural for me. English buyers however might feel insulted by this. I may be wrong, maybe they got used to it.
Anyway, it was just an idea on my part. I thought maybe Garuspik is just shy to ask for help. It turned out he doesn't want it, so I was wrong. I'm sorry, forget it.

@AudioFriend: I get where you were coming from and it wasn't a bad suggestion. I just think that for me and some others, we enjoy the not overly polished grassroots feel of this project. And part of that charm for me is his RUnglish and the heartfelt way he speaks about his design. Maybe I'm wrong here, but that's my take.

It doesn't bother me in the slightest, but IDK if Google translate would've done any better. Point is well taken I guess that some may be put off, but he's already more than quintupled his goal so I'm guessing it doesn't matter as much at this point.

The metal shop felt like the perfect place to get the supplies. Cutting out the middle men is how I figure you'll be able to supply us some well made headphones for $299 (or $349 for others :p).

How many headphones can you make headbands for with all those spring steel plates? That looks like a lot!

1200 pieces (each headband consists of two identical parts). Not all steel plates in that metal shop are bought by me ;)) I've bought 20 plates - 40 square meters. That's enough for ~1250 pcs. 50 for some unexpected issues.

For the Americans, that's roughly 430 sq.ft. (about the size of a single car garage)

Hey, us Brits (of a certain age, at least) remember feet and inches! :D

As to the linguistic thing... it was a good suggestion, but those words from @Garuspik were from the heart, and it seems very right to me that they should have been in RUnglish. And they were very easy to understand. I've never had any problems with any of his posts either, so I think he is going to fine with his technical and marketing English.

Russian language has completely different phrasing in comparison with English. And while I have rather broad lexicon, sometimes I translate directly from Russian into English. That's rather hard to eradicate without practice.

So, I've been wondering what the hell are you guys talking about? Then it hit me, Romanian has similar phrasing to Russian, we even have the same word for yes, nothing was out of place for casual reading.
Literal translation for my head itches is my head is eating me

No, that was another ukrainian dude that made very similar headphones.

Sure it was me, and one ot the purposes I make each time different earpads is that I want to know opinons on Verums with different earpads.

Screw that. I much prefer your genuine way of expressing yourself. There are already many ks that outsource native English speakers (or close). You have been yourself from day 1 and it would be weird to lose that genuine contact/feeling.

Thanks, next week i'll receive all parts for headbands and start bending them. Now making a simple bending machine. A problem with spring steel is that it is... spring! When you bend it this type of metal try to become straight again.
Anyway, I've done it 20 times and now I need to do it 1200. Same job but a bit more long process :D
