Vehicles aside, hope everyone’s ok in the Jeep.

And you can remove the Wrangler bumper with 6 bolts, not 36 screws and 112 use-one-time clips.

Well, the tow hook got scratched. I was hoping the bumper would have suffered more significant damage so I would have a good reason to install a full redneck bumper deal. Next time.

Think of it like being on the bridge of a Federation starship with shields up being attacked by a smaller alien ship with inferior technology. More annoying than jarring.

    c-c-c-crumple zones!

Does a modern Jeep even have any?

I'm sure my wife's '16 patriot would crumple nicely.

Someone did a crash for cash with my wife. The old peugeot has a huge dent but our mazda 3 only has a few superficial scratches.

Heard a similar story from someone. A Fiat cutoff some big truck. It was the fault of the Fiat and the truck driver didn't even bother to call insurance because he had zero damage. Fiat was totaled.

I'll post a photo in the car thread maybe later today. The guy was on drugs. Yes, we agreed not to report him.

Is that subtle hint for us to report him instead???

Back in my public works days I watched a Honda Prelude driver ignore the keep back sign and stop right behind a 966 Cat, who proceeded to reverse right up the hood to the windshield. Driver was OK but but traumatized :-) Wish they had camera phones back then.
