everyday is a constant battle between us and them making sure the patient's medication gets approved... they make you exhaust all other treatment options until we can finally use the proper medication on our patients... ridiculous

if anyone is in Regal medical group, they should switch their insurance ASAP... I've seen too many patients getting f**ked over and it's very frustrating to see patients be in pain even when we have the right tools to help them

Just had an ultrasound today. All OK. But found out my insurance and my wife’s can’t seem to get their shit together. They are still passing the buck on charges from last year. I used to be a medical claims examiner. Worst job I have ever had. And I used to haul manure.

@Ringingears so it's a job hauling manure vs a job going over manure with a fine brush?

The Feds, via the DEA, are the ones to blame for the inability of chronic pain patients to get the meds they need. They have given the insurance company the justification to deny coverage because of the "opioid crisis."

It's a big reason why I ultimately decided not to work in the medical field, at least not in California. My residency in an oncology clinic was just disheartening; I can't tell you the number of times I have never seen a patient ever again...

When I was a kid, you'd go the go to the doctor, pay the doctor. Pay the pharmacy for your Rx. Insurance was for calamity. Now it's about control of the populace.

@Syzygy it’s right. Insurance and good medicine don’t walk together.
