It depends on its size and shape, small dense mofos are really tiring.

Carrying those things up a flight of stairs is not easy. My speakers are about 85 lb each. Screwed wheels into one and latches into the other so I can latch them together and roll them like a dolly. Makes it easier to move long distances.

@spwath meh, I've carried DIY subs that weigh significantly more up/down stairs. Hell, our 270 lbs ping pong table came in exactly 2 pieces and I had to carry those up to get it in the house then down into the basement.

Probably the worst decision I've made is buying 2 finished martysubs from someone. Went with a friend and had to carry them up a super narrow/awkward flight of stairs. Dude had built them in 1" MDF and double walled a chunk of it. Each was easily 350lbs. My buddy is a decade younger than me/lifts like a boss and I was dying halfway up the stairs with the first/he didn't sweat the whole way.

Yeah, just wait until you get old.

@Senorx12562 how old is old? I have been told I'm an old man since I was 5.

I guess when the suffering caused by hucking around 80 lbs seems to outweigh it's utility. And I was an old kid too. That's when I contracted my case of the Mondays.

@Senorx12562 that's what I'm training my kids for. The boy is four and already likes to exercise with me.

Take and savor every second. Even (or maybe especially) if it's doing nothing but talking.
