    All these people who are well-beyond retirement age but still cling to their power. All due respect to my older friends but we need age limits. Feinstein, McConnell, Biden, Trump.. none of them should be running for national public office at their ages.

    We've been blessed with wonderful old senators (McCain, Carl Levin, Moynihan, Romney et al.). We should not be ruling out the most-experienced, best-qualified candidates with age-limits or term-limits. We need to find other solutions—ranked-choice primaries would be a start. I'm mildly concerned about the likely 2020 candidates ages; but see https://www.nationalreview.com/2023/09/something-is-going-to-break/
