Thanks for the impressions so far!
A question for those how had a chance to listen to these: is the ZMF Auteur a little less dark as the Eikon? Is there a bit better treble extension? These have been my main minor gripes with the Eikon.
A little more resolution, openess and improved soundstage which might come with the open design are welcome as well, of course.

My name is Ringingears and I have gradually become a basshead. In the beginning I never liked bass as it sounded one note on most cans. But over the years I found myself secretly slipping over to tables with more bass heavy cans. It wasn't my fault. The bass started to have multiple notes, and sounded more natural. Now it may be too late. I've bought gear from Luckbad. Now a Loki. Where does it end? The new Klipsch?

Seriously. Looking forward to having a chance to hear these. Thanks to everyone for sharing your visit and impressions with those of us that couldn't make it. Maybe next year I'll get to go instead of grading final exams. :Violin:Did anyone make it over to the Sennheiser table?

Any amps you think might have good synergy with the Klipsch?

I don't think above the 650. Likely below. Still I'm curious.

@solderdude obviously heard the HD660S, which seems to be based on the HD650. All black, with different pads, driver? and damping. Could be a similar move to what they did with the HD800, tweaking it into the HD800S.

Might clash with Seafoam Green though.

Solderdude (Frans) had a chance to hear the HD660S and speak with the Senn rep. It's all black, has more sub-bass than the HD650. Different pads and drivers and more clamping force. Sounds like Sennheiser may have responded to some of the HD650 shortcomings. But at least in Europe looks like they will cost about 25% more than an HD650. Hoping someone going to RMAF today can get a chance to check these out as well as the new Audeze. Be brave. It's just a lab coat. Might be mine as someone stole mine a couple of years ago.

Wait... more clamping force? People actually felt a lack of clamping force was an HD650 shortcoming?

    You BDSM nuts, you!

Meh...all 650's have a death clamp until the pads wear a bit. But I'm encouraged by this news anyway....tentatively hopeful even.

That was solderdude's biggest complaint. May have something to do with increasing seal for sub-bass. Not sure. Hoping it can be adjusted. Or will lessen with wear. Pads are stiffer too. And somewhat less surface area.

Looks just like the Massdrop only with a nicer all black paint job. Price is around €500.

Edit: this is all second hand info. I haven't seen nor heard one.

Seems they decided to unveil it in Europe first. Or he got an early listen. But it's real.

Oh man this is unfair, the new LFF headphones, the ZMF Auteur, FAD planars, $599 Audeze LCD, and now a new HD650?
    Poor me :D

A BDSM audiophile club sounds like a million dollar idea just waiting to happen. From budget (KSC75 nipple clamps) to high-end (Muramasas laying on your chest while sexy insults play from them), there's something in it for everyone!
