Per today's news, I'm curious if anyone here got shut out of the PPP and what your next move is. I'm not asking out of pure curiosity either.

 

Round 4 like a motherfucker with the quickness. It'll get passed by the end of next week is my guess, maybe early the next week. The Fed is already moving from loan securitization (i.e., buying up existing SB loans) to expanding existing credit lines to SB/SE the tune of $850B. That should ease pressure from anything that got caught outside of the PPP.

Edit: for those who aren't savvy to some of this stuff, from an econometric and macro analysis perspective, we're seeing the largest "opening of the money faucet" in the history of our country (i think, I'll need to check a couple things...). These 12-18 months and the following year to 2 or 3 will likely be studied for decades to come to determine it's efficacy. I hate to see the day-to-day necessity when thousands of people are losing their lives across my country, but I take some solace in the opportunities offered in the post hoc analysis and corresponding potential policy changes. There's already talk of moving the Fed to a digital currency direct (to consumer) banker based on cryptocurrency standards, which is bonkers considering where we were just 10 years ago. I mean, that's nuts, each SSN could potentially have an account with the Fed...

 

Not entirely, she left liquor stores, weed dispensaries, and lottery ticket sales open. She is a very generous lady.

 

I opened my business account (we are a SB, medical practice, incorporated) on Monday and the Fed's had deposited a nice chunk of stimulus directly into it, a number based on our 2019 Medicare billing, for which we (and just about every other independent doctor/practice) give them direct electronic access. My accountant was as surprised as I was, but by the end of the day my he and my billing service had been informed. It was nice, but it won't be down the line when in some act of impenetrable bureaucratic "due process" the hand that giveth today taketh away.

 

Got my deposit yesterday, gave my mom 1/3rd of it. Think I will use another 1/3rd of it on some bills and hold on the remainder.

 

My full $1200 went towards bills, sadly. Then my office table started to fall apart so I had to get another one from Amazon.

 

Beer + computer gear + headphone gear was evidently too much weight. When the new table arrives, leave space on the floor beside it for all the beer crates.

 

It was more due to my skinny fat ass who broke the table, plus the computer gear, plus my GF's big butt that everyone is jelly on, and the beer.

I need to take a picture of my battle-station later, I think we have a thread for that, I think.....
