I would change this by adding two words:

"The worlds longest and curviest slip'n'slide OF DEATH"

because even if there no stair treads, within 1-2 floors you'd pick up crazy speed and tear your body to shreds via friction against the curving outside wall. By the time you got near the bottom. you'd be nothing but a 30 floors-high blood trail.

Note to self: This would make a terrific gut-bucket Netflix horror film,

    "Slip'n'Slide OF DEATH"

Erm... are we getting a bit off the "Funny/LOL" topic here? Let me say this:

    Slinky Springs!

Isn't there a Slinky Springs in Australia?

The origin of the spurious ‘trickle down’ nonsense and how it really works.

When you watch dubbed films, sometimes they’ll see you scream.

Just remembered (hope I haven’t told the story here yet):

I once sat in a fast food restaurant eating my burger. On a screen music videos were played. I looked at the screen when a new video started, it was a song from a band called “Fast Ear Movement”.

I marvelled at that wonderful band name and wondered what they had thought of when they chose it. Was it a stab at R.E.M.? Or maybe they could all wiggle their ears?

When the song was over and I looked up again, I found out that the band was actually called “Far East Movement”.

For years, I took the wrong lesson from that Monster Cable experiment and only listened to my music through alligator-clipped coat hangers.

Love this story! Here's mine: this spring my wife & I were driving from Asheville, North Carolina to Charlotte. The state is 100s of miles wide so it took hours. Someplace poor mid-state (many churches + appliances on porches) we stopped for takeout coffee at Burger King.

I was in the BK bathroom & it dawned on me the tune on the sound system (damned good for a bathroom) was really good--gotta hear this for myself good. All I could recall of the verse was "Gonna get myself connected." I thought, "No way I'll ever find this tune."

That night I googled it & bam, there it was. I'm glad I took a leak at Burger King:

Ha - I thought you were heading towards a @RestoredSparda (edit: sorry, it was @zottel) type punchline and would say you discovered it was this one instead:

That video is epic! Never heard of them. Interesting take on enforced normalcy...

Great band, hugely entertaining live (saw them once in the mid-2000s, it remains among my top 5 live shows).

I saw them twice, both epic shows. Everyone plays every instrument, deep musical talent. And at one show they did an amazing cover of AC/DC Thunderstruck of all things.

Still one of my favorite bands years later.

I thought he was going to say that it turned out the music was just a Burger King commercial.

BK hires Stereo MC to do their new themesong...

"I'm gonna get myself connected ... at Burger King"

(Note: I can think of numerous ways customers can "get connected" at BK)
