Could be! But End game is a state of inner contentment not a combination of gear

Haha true - I have bifrost 2/64, jot2 as preamp (for the genelecs), and mha 200 in the studio rig these days. All good.

Moved MJ3 to the Yggdrasil rig, not bad at all. But I still think MHA200 gets all out of Yggdrasil and everything else leaves a little bit out. Oh well. It’s good to play with toys and enjoy tunes.

Wouldn't you like to have built your dream audio system?

Isn't what he did the same as what many here do? The difference being only one of scale.

The whole evening was an incredible synthesis of sight and sound. Even at 73 years old, PG continues to push himself artistically. It's a gutsy move to go out and play 11 new songs when you already have a remarkable back catalog spanning 40+ years, not to mention that he and the band were incredibly tight and energetic for 2 hours 45 minutes.

21 years ago I saw him in Mexico City - this was like a week before the Up tour formally started. The newspaper review was “This jerk charged us to come see him rehearse”. Not unlike the current performance, it was him, some theatrics, and the band - without the large “Us” era spectacle. He also filled the set with tracks from “Up”. He didn’t even play “In Your Eyes”.

Well increase the resolution, refreshrate and or length of the cable and you start running into problems. I've bought 4k 120hz cables that couldn't even do 4k at 60hz. Lot's shit out there that doesn't meet spec. LTT and others did some video's on it. Once you run into limitations fibre optic is not bollocks, go over 5m with 4k@120hz and you pretty much need these.

Sorry, didn't mean to imply that! Fibre is totally not bollocks. I used to have 8Mb/sec broadband: along came fibre and now it is 200.

And maybe it is the case that case that html, as it is now, needs to be history. And a fibre-based system would be so much better.

My cynicism kicked in due to the super-marketing-language talk.
