    I have gone through 3 or 4 vinyl setups over the years at pretty modest pricepoints (sub 2k for the table, cart, stage together) and was never satisfied with the sound. Personally, I like the sound of tape, and at the cost of vinyl rigs that have actually impressed me, i could get an even better reel to reel. YMMV, vinyl is a bit too rich for my blood.
