That reaction would be a sign of health.
Yeah, it was a little too much for me. Having a similar academic background didn't help.
Try staying sober after "Ghost In The Shell." A good story can shake you up for a long time. "Gus" in "Breaking Bad" is a fascinating character.
Now queue up Ozarka and Startup and fall into a deeper pit of despair, lol.
I love breaking bad. Definitely my favorite series of all time.
Breaking Bad is a hard no for me because I know how much it would upset me. @Deep Funk l also agree with you about GitS. I’ve watched it dozens of times and it still hits hard.
Halt And Catch Fire was much more gut wrenching for me. Probably because of what I do as well. (Not software related but creative)
"Bitches" - my memorable word from the series
@rhythmdevils I agree that Halt and Catch Fire was more of a gut punch. The 4th season especially. That being said, Breaking Bad is a masterpiece and Better Call Saul is as good, if not better.
@Merrick I like Hslt and Catch Fire better actually despite how devastating it is to watch especially with the expectations you have going into it. Breaking Bad is fantastic but I always found it a little calculated and mathematical and lacking heart and soul.
Next up, requiem for a dream
You want to really be sad, read “requiem for a dream” yikes. Then go watch “revolutionary road”, eek or better yet, Sylvia.
