Jeff Buckley's rendition of Lilac Wine is just beautiful, but my favourite off Grace (besides Hallelujah [or Dream Brother! Lord, that's a cathartic song] because I'm basic that way) is this one:

Also, Puddles needs more recognition. I genuinely love the guy's voice:

... followed by "no friggin duh", make way for the chairman:

Atypical, but the man has unique presentation and uses it well as an instrument:

    Lastly:

Well, yeah, Art Garfunkel goes without saying. He still had it years later:

And of course there are these two:

And these two appeal to me personally, but maybe just because they remind me of the period when I was in the right place at the right time:

Not only is the video awesome, but that voice...

And I feel like David Byrne's unique voice doesn't get enough love.

I like the album version more because Brian Eno's production techniques elevate it, but this version highlight's Byrne's voice more:

This thread needs some James. His voice was epic.

Also Marvin Gaye, I mean his voice and his productions still give me the chills.

Also I should mention Chester Bennington and Chris Cornell.

I am not mentioning MJK here. You know why? Tool is more about the whole sound. MJK had a very strong voice though...

I’ve just heard this at a barber shop while I was waiting for a haircut. I really like his voice.

Just started this album for the first time.

While no one’s going to call Nick the most gifted singer/vocalist around, he’s got to be one of the most emotional performers I’ve ever heard...

I always liked the voice on this Australian contemporary of Cave's: The Triffids' David McComb (d. 1999).

That's The Bad Seeds' current player, Martyn Casey, on bass.

David Gedge has learned to use his limited range better as he's aged. Have to say that musically I prefer his earlier stuff, but as an example of his later, IMO this qualifies for inclusion here:
