Huh? I think this is them: https://www.schanitize.com/
WTF.. I want one of those black washable reusable masks that says Schiit Happens. Please ?
a little late for april fools...
I'd like a UV sterilization "oven."
you can find me inside a tanning bed
Same business address as Schiit.
This is interesting:
We are also ready to assist with custom UV design, including designs that feature a completely North American supply chain. Please contact us for additional information—we’d be happy to work with you!
Is this really them? I'd like to buy masks to ship to my somewhat elderly parents.
SBAF should do masks to match the T-shirts. And T-shirts with masks on the cat & dog.
Only half joking.
Figure out how to make the fabric and I’ll see if my wife wants to make a little coin. She’s sewed all her life and has been making them for hospitals.
oddly the Paypal doesn't process as Odeon, Inc., but we'll see how long it takes for the UVC lamp to show up.
I've been reading up on UVC dosing and from what I've seen, most of us in non-sterile (domestic) environments could easily set up a banker's box lined with tin foil and properly dose a handful of masks with relatively low output lamps if we're patient. Most OSHA UVC dosing regimens seem to be 30 seconds to 3 minutes. Dosing for 20 minutes at lower wattage seems to work just fine. Edit: it seems the biggest concern is butyl degradation in the straps after increased handling and longer dosing.
I’m definitely down to buy a few reusable “Schiit” silver or black face masks. As long as it’s not b-stock.
I'm waiting for the heresy edition. Good medicine has to be bitter!
And the surreality continues...
i ordered some masks and two wands (i'll use it on mail) - it already shipped.
I'd be interested to see if "made in china" is on the stuff. (which isn't a value call - but "north America supply chain.)
Hopefully they warn me before releasing Analog 2 versions so I don't feel cheated out of my protection.
The mask will get a firmware upgrade soon, I heard.
No self install, unfortunately.
They raised the price from 0.5 per mask to 0.6
Hey guys, sorry I missed this, but the products are not from Schiit, they are from a separate company operating at our address. Also, of course everything is made in China. The "North American supply chain" refers only to custom designs, which would cost a lot more.
If a mod could change the thread title to reflect these are not Schiit products, it would be appreciated.
Separate names with a comma.
