Before I saw the photos I thought this would be great for use with my phone. I guess it could still work that way with a power bank but the form factor and huge volume knob would make it very clumsy. With a built-in battery and more mobile friendly volume knob, this could be the mobile DAC/amp some have been hoping Schiit would make.

Just placed my order. Could not resist temptation. It just look so damn good. Time to graduate from Dragonfly Red and move to Schiit gear.

Including an extra USB port for power is a great solution for using smartphones. Before USB powered DAC/amps were only for laptop duty for me. Now with the separate power input I don't have to worry about the power draw on phones. As a bonus over battery powered solutions like the Oppo HA-2, I can use this with a battery bank and not worry about servicing if the battery craps out.

I didn't see specs for the DAC line out. Is it 1.5V like the Modi 2? Modi 2 is still useful if you want to play 24/192 but I'm pretty sure the 24/96 limit will be fine for 99% of people.

Oh, I didn't notice it's up to 24/96 only. That seems like an odd choice given that the DAC chip can do 24/192.

That feature set is bonkers at that price and size. At this rate, Fulla 4 will also wash vinyl, perform room correction by manipulating spacetime, and cost $18 with a switch in the back.

Actually, Fulla 2 doesn't have a switch in the back (because there's no switch). Nor does it have a bright power LED (because there's no LED). And the feet aren't stick-on, they're pressed-in. Ha.

They do that so it will work everywhere without drivers.

I don't see anything for switching sources. What happens you have both the analog input and the DAC on at the same time?

Windows UAC2 drivers are imminent...problem is, we're not sure if they will ever work on W7 and W8 (and W7 support is going bye-bye soon), so we decided it was best to play it safe and stick with UAC1 for now.

For the price and the features it's hard to complain. I understand trying to make it the most accessible to entry level buyers who just want a bit of everything.

    What!? No DSD?

Sorry, I just never can resist.

This thing looks great. For a C-Note it seems like a no brainer to have one around.

Great step-up from the original Fulla, just in time for Christmas. Would love to see a similar large pot upgrade to Schiit SYS.

Hmm I was thinking about moving up to the Dragonfly Red but this is pretty nifty.

My laptop does not have a USB-C input. Can I use a run-of-the-mill USB-A to USB-C cable in the #7 USB Power and Data Input?

    All for... less dongles
It looks like mini-me Vidar! Much more character than that that first one, looked out of place, and vol pot I've heard was chintzy.
Need internal pics! Is there the a glowing orange led?
The front 1/4" HP output jack is deceiving, thought it was a 1/8" at first, really cool!

As long as your computer has a USB 2.0 port you'll be fine. Per the FAQ the Fulla 2 comes with a USB to micro USB cable.

Schiit never ceases to amaze me. It's awesome to see a company like this in the audiophile market for a change. Keep it up!

D'oh, brain fart. I read the USB receiver spec as being a USB-C input...please ignore...
