furry friends are family, this forum is family. Tucker will be in a lot of our thoughts.

Glad you were able to get a cause for neuro signs. So many people can’t afford MRI/CT and never know exact cause for neuro, can be really hard on owners to not know and just treat. Thrombo might have underlying cause. Is transfusion an option in short term?

wife's daughter's dog went from seemingly-fit to incurable cancer almost overnight. Tomorrow may be the last day for her.

@Thad E Ginathom I'm so sorry to hear that. Best wishes and keep hoping for better news. We're lucky to learn today that Tucker's condition is stable but improving ever so slightly. I can't begin to express how stressful it is to try to focus every fiber of being into a laserbeam of telekinetic well-wishing to a sick, tired, and scared doggy miles away, but that's what my GF and I have been trying do.

@internethandle her first panel from saturday evening was 35k platelet count. This morning she's at 80k, so, per the internist, we're out of the danger zone but still have a way to go. Neuro wants to wait 48-ish hours to let the steroids plus some anti brain-swelling do their thing, but secondary options are a chemo med, and thirdly a tranfus. I'm hopeful for no transfus.
