We're right next to each other, so if schedule could be aligned we could trade it off in-person to minimize risk of shipping incidents and cost.

If there's space, I'd be grateful to hear it, please. But if space is limited, please drop me from the list first. Eastern PA.

    Weiss DAC24 received.

    A couple of notes:

This came with the wrong power cord. Included was the stock cable wart PSU, but that thing has an IEC input. The power cable that was included was a Panasonic two prong cord. I will include an IEC cable to go with this unit so others can use it.

Secondly, there is a HUGE difference in sound between the stock PSU with and without the Noise Nuke. If members here can agree to take care of it, I will include my homemade Noise Nuke with this because I think it makes big difference. Weiss does sell a separate LPS for this unit. I am not currently using my NN for anything, so I would be glad to include it as long as I can get it and the DC cord back after the tour is over.

@julie, please remove me. Sort of lost interest in DACs for the moment.

At the upcoming Austin meet we're going to put it against some heavy hitters and we'll see how it stacks up. If it feels like it costs $300 but sounds like it costs $6000 (not saying it will, but...) then build quality/perceived cheapness shouldn't be an issue. What matters is the sound (to me, at least).

@Erroneous Looking forward to that shoot out! If it is heavily in favor of the 204, then I can hop back on at the end of the loaner.
