You can start listening to sine sweeps as well. Those have perfect measurements at all audible frequencies. They may even be perfect beyond that depending on which sample rate and bit depth you go with.
Haven't done a single measurement to my DIY amps yet every one sounds glorious. Maybe you wanted to say I'll take random numbers generated by a machine against a random scale to inflate my ego on how right the purchase was and how smart you are. Only a fool doesn't listen to the gear.
It must feel very safe and satisfying knowing all the decisions are all laid out in black and white for you. Too bad you can’t trust your ears, you’re missing out.
What is a dishonest measurement? I have come to learn here we have honest impressions. This is not a chifi advertising company fooling people with numbers.
Whether the measurements that marketing departments use are honest or not is one thing, it is another than they are presented honestly. Often they are not.
