As a civilian Fed, I don't think I've ever felt as insulted, disgusted, and uncertain all at the same time.

As a retired (Canadian, municipal) civil servant I was certainly used to being a political target, but the complete abdication of basic norms of civilized behaviour there makes me shake my head. Wishing you folks the best of luck.

As a federal employee in three different departments throughout my career, this is a good thing. There is so much waste, fraud and bullshit going on. It needs to be looked into and removed in order to set this country’s financial house straight. No matter your politics this is the truth. Some may not like the way it is done but that’s a different discussion.

Let me say Thank You for your service to the country. People thank members of the military but I feel many who serve as civil servants are doing so unselfishly and are also deserving of thanks.

I’m sorry, @gaspasser, but an unelected billionaire and a bunch of racist incel kids brazenly breaking the law is not “a good thing.” If the GOP thinks they can find fraud, then appoint IGs, and if they think there’s waste, then pass a budget.

Thanks all for your support. I don't disagree with the real need to cut down on wasteful spending, of which there is plenty, but (as already stated) not in this manner especially by an unqualified megalomaniac and his underlings. But enough about that - these are the times to find comfort in family, nostalgic music & TV.

None of this is to reduce waste, unless you believe Elon's goal with Twitter was free speech. I assume it all supports tax cuts for the rich and adds to wealth inequality.
